Magnetic North is delighted to have received Multi-Year Funding from Creative Scotland to support our programme of productions, new work development and innovative artist support. It is great to see so many new organisations getting regular funding as well, which is a positive sign for the arts in Scotland. We should also remember those who have not received funding today. The arts in Scotland is a delicate ecosystem: we are all interconnected and depend on each other – in tangible and less tangible way – to dream, plan, and deliver great art. Magnetic North is committed to working in partnership with funded and unfunded organisations and individuals; to sharing our resources, energy and time as widely as we can; and to advocating on behalf of our sector for the importance of art and artists at the centre of civic life.
