An elderly woman, Martha, is the final native speaker of an ancient language carrying her people’s cultural heritage through generations of stories. A cameraman named Ben is sent to document her narratives before her death, but discovers a deeper conflict involving a seventeen-year-old girl grappling with her own identity and cultural inheritance. The production explores themes of language preservation, cultural survival and personal struggle within a family living in urban decay.
